Ernite discovered her love and passion for art at an early age when she drew her first carrots on a massive chalkboard. Since then, art has become an escape, a way to make sense of it all. The talented Haitian artist Ernite Coronado skillfully combines her love of art and science to produce enthralling masterpieces that cross all borders. The endurance and tenacity of Ernite's country, a region defined by turmoil but infused with romance and love, where the entire community supports its children, have had a significant impact on her path since she was born in 1978.
Ernite has four lovely children and is married to a fantastic spouse; her life is a tapestry made with love and imagination. She started her academic path by embracing the meeting point of many fields, which prompted her to pursue both Studio Art and Biochemistry. She excels as a real estate salesperson in addition to her academic endeavors, deftly navigating the world of real estate sales and developing deep relationships with customers.
Additionally, her biggest influences are Oswald Durant, Vincent Van Goh, and Charles Burchfield. Furthermore, her work encompasses her spirituality, fascination for nature, and being a black Haitian female immigrant mother. She manipulates many media, such as ceramics, wood, 3D painting, resin, oil, acrylic, watercolor, and charcoal, to express her emotions via paintings and sculpture. She’s also written many poems. She believes that an artist is a distinct energy created to provoke and tumult the soul and spirit to trigger awakening and enlightenment. Therefore, she creates art that illustrates the depth of her ancestry and speaks to hopes that nurture the future.
She has a great grasp of the human condition and a passion to capture the essence of life's subtle beauty in every brushstroke and every form she creates with her hands. Her works arouse awe in viewers and invite them to investigate how shape and emotion interact with light and shadow. Especially on hectic days when she needs a break from the pressures of the world, Ernite Coronado finds peace and equilibrium in both art and science. She embraces the idea that art and science are not two distinct things, but rather two facets of human experience, and she finds inspiration in the blending of these two fields, which helps her to navigate the intricacies of life.
